Commission a piece
Tell us about your wall and we'll sketch something for it. Nothing is cut or knotted until you've seen the sketch and approved it.
How a commission works
- Tell us about the space. Send photos of the wall or window with something of a known size in frame — a door, a chair, a tape measure — so we can size the piece properly.
- Sketch and quote. We send a sketch drawn to your wall's size and a written quote, valid for 14 days. One round of changes is included.
- Approve and pay the deposit. A 60% deposit starts your piece and holds its place in the making queue.
- We make it. Knotted by hand in our Lagos studio. Three weeks from the day you approve the sketch.
- Pay the balance. We send photographs when it's finished. The remaining 40%, plus shipping, is due before delivery.
- Delivery. Wrapped, boxed and sent to you ready to hang, with the care guide.
What to tell us
Send as much or as little as you have. These are the things that shape the piece:

Our sizes are widths. When we say a 5 ft piece, we mean 5 ft across. The drop depends on the design, and it's shown on the sketch.
Measuring
Anywhere on Lagos Island we'll come and measure, and the visit is on us. Elsewhere, photographs with something in frame for scale do the job well — we size from those every week.
Your own design
We're glad to make a design that's yours, and we'll sign a non-disclosure agreement if you ask. Where a commission comes from a public reference — something found on Pinterest or Instagram that neither of us owns — we'll make it, but we treat it as inspiration rather than anyone's property, and we don't sign an NDA for it.
What it costs
Pieces on the shop start at NGN 130,000 and are priced by size. Custom work is quoted once we've seen the space and agreed the design. Choosing your own colours doesn't change the price. Shipping is quoted separately, by destination and courier.
